These documents are published for information purposes only. This design standard covers the design of earthing systems for transmission zone and terminal substations. The approach taken aligns with AS2067-2016 and is defined in ENA Doc 025, EG-0. This approach uses a risk-based design process that aims to ensure a safe and robust earthing design, whilst balancing between cost, practicality and risk management.
