THE ORGANISATION

Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation which is responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network which connects over 1.1 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources.

BACKGROUND

Steel poles are used outdoors as premanufactured ready to use support, to Western Power’s distribution overhead network up to 36kV to supply electricity to consumers, in conditions where there is a wide range of ambient temperature, solar radiation, humidity, pollution (salt bearing) and ground water levels. These poles are required to be safe and quicker to install without the need for a bespoke site-specific civil engineering design.

THE SCOPE

Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced companies capable of design, fabrication, testing, supply, and delivery of the steel poles.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

1.    Register your Interest by email entitled “Steel Poles up to 36KV – Registration of Interest” to lorena.palencia@westernpower.com.au with the Registration of Interest Questionnaire below. 
2.    To be considered for inclusion in a Request for Proposal, please register your interest and return the completed Registration of Interest Questionnaire by 5pm (AWST) 07/03/2025.
