All MyWP Projects FAQs
Project access and visibility (Transmission projects)
We’re working on adding more detailed activity views to project timelines, including steps that require action from customers or applicants. This feature will be enabled soon as part of our ongoing improvements.
To view projects in the MyWP Projects portal, you must be an authorised contact for the project or part of the organisation associated with it. If you’re authorised but still can’t see the project, please contact our support team at MyWP.Admin.Support@westernpower.com.au with the project details.
Users within your organisation can see all associated projects. To add more users, contact your organisation’s administrator. You can find the administrator’s details under 'Organisation management' in the 'My Account' section.
If you're not linked to an organisation, please contact your company admin.
To update the contact details for your project, contact your Access Consultant. Their contact information is available in the 'Contacts' tab of your project.
If you need to change or verify project details, contact your Access Consultant. You can find their contact information in the 'Contacts' tab within your project.
We’re working on adding notifications for project status changes and alerts when action is required from the customer or applicant. This feature is on our roadmap and will be available soon.
Before starting your new connection application, check out the process overview and resources available on our Transmission Connected Loads & Generators page.
If your circumstances change and you need to update or cancel your application after submission, contact your Access Consultant. Their details can be found in the 'Contacts' tab within your project.
If you’re part of an organisation, you’ll see all projects associated with your organisation, not just the ones you’ve submitted.
Western Power projects are divided into Transmission and Distribution projects. If your portfolio includes both, you’ll see options to choose which type you want to manage when you log in. This way, you get a tailored experience that makes full use of MyWP's features specific to each project type.
Pre-application enquiry (Distribution projects)
Pre-application enquiries must be tied to a specific site location. If your enquiry isn’t site-specific, you can submit a general enquiry via our contact page or by calling us at 13 10 87.
While you can’t edit a submitted pre-application enquiry, you can add comments and files for additional information. Simply open the enquiry, scroll down to the comments section, attach your files, and submit.
If you need help before submitting a project application, submit a pre-application enquiry through the MyWP portal. Log in, go to the Enquiries tab, select Pre-Application Enquiry, and follow the prompts. Our team will review your enquiry and get in touch.
A project enquiry is about specific details of an active project, whereas a pre-application enquiry helps clarify requirements before you submit a project application. This could include questions about new connections or moving equipment.
You can check the status of your pre-application enquiry by logging into MyWP and navigating to the Pre-application Enquiry section. You’ll also receive email updates when there’s a change in status.

We aim to resolve all enquiries quickly, with most responses provided within 10 working days. You’ll get an email when there’s a status change or if more information is needed. You can also track the progress in MyWP under the Enquiries tab.
