Service Apparatus Connection Scheme
The Service Apparatus Connection Scheme (SACS) allows accredited electrical contractors to install kWh meters and terminate consumer mains into energised Western Power pillars. After testing and recording the test results on the SACS test form, installations must be left de-energised and tagged out of service.
The scheme is limited to the connection of single direct wired metering installations not exceeding 100 amperes, and includes distributed master metering.
Contractor Connection Scheme
Contractor Connect Scheme (CCS) permits allow contractors to install, test and energise new electrical installations. Following satisfactory testing and checking of the work, the installation may be left energised.
Two levels of accreditation (full and restricted) is available to eligible electrical contractors.
