P00915 – Emergency Response Generator Services

The Organisation

Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation which is responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network which connects over 2.3 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources.

The Scope

Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, for the provision of Emergency Response Generator Services to support the Western Power and the Western Australia community in the events of generator mobilisation.

Services include, but are not limited to, the provision of :

(i)    transport and delivery of equipment associated with Western Power’s Emergency Response Generator operations and erection of non - conductive fence;
(ii)    the delivery of fuel oil on a 7 day / 24 hour a day basis and performing checks of coolant and engine oil levels for Western Power’s Emergency Response Generator fleet; and
(iii)    provision of prime mover and vehicle escort services for the conveying rapid response spare transformers trailers (with a gross mass range of 62 to 78 tonnes) and their associated cable trailers, as required by Western Power and in the event of emergency deployment.

Registration Requirements

To be considered for the inclusion in a Request for Proposal (RFP), please REGISTER with the online form below no later than 2pm, Friday 18th October 2024 and include the following details:

• Demonstrated ability and expertise to meet scope requirements.
• Demonstrated relevant track record and capability in delivering these services to an electricity utility’s network.
• Supplier’s current Safety, Health and Environmental Management System.
