MEDIA AND SOCIAL MEDIA MONITORING AND INSIGHTS

The Organisation

Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network that connects our 2.3 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources, delivering an essential service to our community. 

Scope Overview: 

Western Power is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced companies to provide a platform with daily traditional media and social media monitoring and reports. This includes Western Power, state energy, industry, and policy coverage as well as relevant national and international coverage. These insights help to inform Western Power’s external communications and strategies.

The services can include, but are not limited to:

1.Daily media monitoring reports and listening tracking coverage and sentiment.
2.Live media listening and notifications/clips.
3.A platform and training to manually track build reports based on specific issues based on coverage.
4.Support during business hours with pulling together reports, gathering clips and contacts.
5.Regular detailed insight reports tracking key themes, tone, sentiment, trends, coverage, media impact scores, reach, cut-through, spokespeople and     industry tracking.
6. Media contact base and data tracking platform for all interactions.
7.Monthly pulse check on coverage, sentiment and proactive communications.
8.Ability to send media statements and stakeholder messaging through platform where tracking and insights are available.
9.Social media listening, including private/closed/indirect mentions where possible.
10.Social media sentiment tracking and analysis.

EOI Requirements:

Suppliers are required to respond to the following as part of your EOI submission:

• Company name and ABN.
• Contact name, phone number and email address.
• Area of interest in the above-mentioned scope items 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 (are you interested in providing a full range of services or only certain categories in  particular)     

• Capability statement including (Company overview, core competencies, proven track record).
