Use this service for works that require the temporary isolation (disconnection and reconnection) of an existing standard metered supply. For permanent removal of supply, contact your retailer to request a supply abolishment.

How long will it take?

3 weeks to disconnect and reconnect after the application is received.

What will I need to complete this application?

  • EnergySafety Preliminary notice number
  • Ensure the Preliminary notice is for an alteration/addition
  • Existing meter number
  • Retailer reference number
  • A valid electrical contractor licence
  • A valid credit card to pay for the service

What if I change my mind or want to cancel my application?

Please contact Western Power on 13 10 87, or email energise.admin@westernpower.com.au within 3 business days of the service request submission.

The submission of 1 request covers 1 appointment. Please ensure you are ready and have completed your works before we attend site.
