Isolation of supply to add a meter

Use this service request if you want to:

• Convert a sub meter(s) to master meters
• An existing installation, being fed by one meter, is being split into more than one premise
• Adding a direct meter to an existing board

Each meter to be installed needs to have:

• Its own Preliminary Notice number
• Its own retailer reference number

The Notice of Completion must be submitted within 3 business days of the meter being installed

How much will it cost?

$455.00 for the install 1 – 2 meters

If you need 3 or more meters installed, we will provide you with a quote

How long will it take?

• 3 weeks for installation to take place after application is received
  or
• 7 business days to provide you with a quote

What will I need to complete this application?

• EnergySafety Notice of Completion number
• Ensure the Notice of Completion is for a new installation
• Retailer reference number for each new meter to be connected
• Existing meter number(s) to be disconnected
• A valid electrical contractor licence
• A valid credit card to pay for the service (if applicable)

The submission of 1 request covers 1 appointment. Please ensure you are ready, and have completed your works before we attend site.
