RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. RSS retrieves the latest content from the Western Power website and delivers it to your desktop.
To view one of the Western Power feeds:
| Title | Copy URLs to RSS reader |
|---|---|
| Media updates | http://www.westernpower.com.au/rssFeeds/mediaCentre.xml |
| Project updates | http://www.westernpower.com.au/rssFeeds/projectsRSS.xml |
A variety of RSS Readers are available for different platforms. Some popular feed readers include RSSReader (Windows) or NetNewsWire (Mac). See Google for more about RSS newsreaders.
Some browsers (such as Firefox and Opera for all platforms and Safari 2.0 for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger) natively read RSS feeds via built-in widgets.
RSS is a free service offered by Western Power for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by Western Power, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by Western Power.
