Following the workshops, a series of small meetings have been held with interested landowners in the region. These have been useful in obtaining feedback from landowners who were unable to attend the community workshops, or those that felt they would like further discussion or information. Meetings have been held with over 25 additional landowners to date.
Western Power Field Officer Brian Logan who is based in Geraldton has had the primary responsibility of meeting with individual landowners in the weeks following the workshop and has received some useful input from stakeholders.
This on-going consultation has enabled Western Power to build a more thorough picture of the constraints, opportunities and localised considerations that exist in the area. This includes detailed information about properties, farming, homes and structures and environmental implications.
