The broad corridor options shown below were developed by the Corridor Selection Panel for each transmission line. The corridors are approximately 1 kilometre wide.
The corridor options were developed using the preliminary constraints mapping undertaken by Western Power and it's independent consultants, GHD, as well as the information on constraints provided by participants in the Information Sessions held in May 2007.
Once the Sustainability Assessment has been undertaken, and the preferred corridor selected, Western Power will consult with all affected landowners to select the alignment of the transmission line within the corridor.
