Statement of Corporate Intent
Western Power is a statutory corporation established by the Electricity Corporations Act 2005 (WA). It is owned by the State Government of Western Australia and is accountable to the Minister for Energy.
Western Power’s accountability requirements in the Statement of Corporate Intent (SCI) are agreed annually with the Minister. The SCI outlines objectives, major activities and performance targets for the financial year, consistent with the Government’s policy and budgetary requirements.
The SCI is made publically available once it has been tabled in Parliament.
